Perspectives

Today we were talking about the importance of perspectives in knowledge. We sat in the circle and we had a special guest – Patchwork – cosmic worm. He came to Earth and had noone to help him so we decided to help him. Each student needed to say how he would help Patchwork. Then I summed up the answers and told them that Patchwork doesn’t need all that as he is a cosmic worm. We started to discuss the perspectives and stereotypes – how we judge others by our own measures. At the end of the lesson we watched Chimamanda Adichie TED talk “Danger of a single story”:

Students were thrilled!
