Today we were playing with Knowledge Questions and Real Life Situations as it is time to start writing serious work.
Firstly we discussed what are KQ and how they are formulated:
Then we played a little with matching the RLS to KQ and KQ puzzles. In the last part of the lesson we played “one of ten”. I matched students in pairs and they were drawing 2 words from a hat and needed to formulate a good KQ that actually makes sense. It was fun and showed that they really understand it.
Next day we discussed how to write an analytical essay again using the “Theory of Knowledge Skills and Practice: Oxford IB Diploma Programme” book and a part on essay.
