What I have found lately is thie free ebook edited by Eugenia Smyrnova-Trybulska and published in Katowice in 2011 “Use of e-learning during deveopment of key competences“. I think it’s a very interesting issue. E-learning might be one of the best options for disabled people but also for some more “theoretical” subjects. Well designed e-learning source will provide for the student opportunities to analyse, transform and practice what he/she is learning about. Actually I am a huge fan of online learning especially now in the facebook era. But the best model is the blended one – online courses with F2F workshops allowing for interactions and practicing what the students learned online.
Last year I was one of the workshop leaders for IBO “Teaching and learning from an international perspective” course for Cracow secondary school teachers. It was amazing to see them change during almost a year of interaction both during online modules and F2F workshops. It was amazing to see the enthusiasm and passion developing in them all over again!
The aim for this year: be a teacher-master!
